Privacy policy

We are a family food business in Balehonnur, not an advertising company. We ask for what it takes to send you a parcel and nothing beyond it, we do not sell your details to anybody, and this site carries no advertising or analytics trackers at all. What follows is the detail, in plain words.

Your phone number, because it is how you sign in. Your name and delivery addresses, because a courier needs them. Your email address, if you give us one, so we can send an invoice. Your orders, because we are required to keep the accounts. That is the whole of it. We do not ask your age, your gender or your date of birth, and there is nowhere on this site to tell us.

You sign in with a code sent to your phone rather than a password. We never store the code itself, only a one-way hash of it, so even somebody holding a copy of our database cannot read your code or use it to sign in as you. Codes expire quickly and a fresh one replaces the last.

This site sets one cookie, vanasri.customer. It keeps you signed in for a month, your browser will not hand it to any other site, and no script on this page can read it. Your basket is not a cookie and never reaches us until you order: it sits in your own browser's storage under vanasri.lite.cart.v2, and clearing your browsing data clears it. There are no advertising, analytics or session-recording trackers on this site.

Card, UPI and netbanking details are typed into Razorpay's own payment window, which is their software and not ours. Those details never touch our server and we could not store them if we wanted to. All we keep is Razorpay's reference for your payment, which is what lets us match a payment to your order and refund it later.

The courier carrying your parcel gets your name, address and phone number, because it cannot be delivered without them. Razorpay handles the payment. That is the list. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, we run no advertising that could profile you, and nobody outside this business and those two gets your data.

You can edit your name, email and addresses yourself under Account. For anything else, including deleting your account, message us on WhatsApp at +91 63603 73757 or write to vanasriproducts@gmail.com and we will do it. One exception we cannot make: an invoice for an order already placed has to be kept for tax, so those records stay even after an account goes.
